The editorial committee of the InterdisciplinArs collection is committed to the dissemination of original and unpublished research results, and therefore guarantees a rigorous selection of the works submitted for publication. Special relevance will be given to the research trajectory of the persons submitting the work and it will be valued that they have previously published research monographs.
One of its responsibilities is to ensure that the volumes published deal with the topics declared in the Scope section and that they represent a step forward in their study, providing novelties and a line of research to be continued.
The members of this committee declare their commitment to the editorial quality and academic rigour of the publications and highlight among their functions:
1. Definition of editorial policies in accordance with the observation and updating of international criteria that frame scientific communication, implementing good practices to achieve standards of academic quality, scientific integrity and impact.
2. Proposal and selection of topics of interest for the advancement of the declared priority lines of research. In some cases, the proposed works may come by invitation to authors of recognised prestige in the proposed topic.
3. Evaluation of manuscripts and assignment of specialised scientific reviewers. The person on the committee most closely aligned to the speciality of the work to be evaluated will propose the reviewers for a review and will receive the reports before they are shared by all committee members.
4. The reports will provide recommendations on the acceptance, rejection or revision of the submitted work and the committee members will communicate the editorial decision to the authors.
5. Supervision of the editorial production process, overseeing the design and final layout of the published work.
6. Promotion of the collection both academically and socially.
7. Ethical commitment to confidentiality at all stages of the process, being impartial and ensuring transparency.
8. Review of the collection in terms of its academic and social impact, proposing adjustments and new strategies to maintain its relevance and prestige.
